pita bread salad 🥗
So let me start off by saying that, in general, I’m not the biggest fan of salads. However, this salad is a GAME CHANGER!!! It is so fulfilling and so sooo tasty omg🤤 The flavors just speak to me! And lets not forget to mention, superrr healthy😬
These just so happen to be the ingredients that I chose, but feel free to add/remove from this. The only thing I request you not to change is the dressing!! Without it, it just won’t be the same (trust me on this one!!)🙈 Also, the day that I made this salad, I was out of chickpeas. but if I had them on hand, I definitely would’ve added them to the salad (by airfrying, of course!) A great way to add some crunch😋
Ingredients
Trader Joe’s organic baby lettuce mix
Toufayan whole wheat pita bread
Whole Food’s feta cheese
Green bell pepper
Red onion
Black olives
Dressing
Cindy’s Kitchen Barcelona Vinaigrette (I got mine from Wholefoods!)
Directions
Lightly toast your pita bread with some olive oil in the skillet.
Cut the pita bread into small bite-size pieces.
Assemble! Add all your ingredients to a large bowl, mix in the dressing, and enjoy!💚
